ADFLCC is put together by a small editorial team, and every message that reaches us is read by a person. The simplest way to get in touch is by email:
hello@adflcc.com
We do not run a phone line or an office that accepts visitors, so email is the one channel we answer. Replies usually come within a few working days, sometimes faster, occasionally slower when we are deep in a long piece.
Good reasons to write
- You found a mistake. A wrong date, a rule that has changed, a broken internal link. Tell us which page and what looks off, and we will check it. Our approach to fixes is described under corrections and updates.
- You have a question we have not covered. Many of our explainers began as a reader's email. If you are puzzling over something like business budgeting, invoice finance or how internet TV works, suggest it.
- Something is unclear. If an article raised more questions than it answered, we would like to know where we lost you.
- Privacy requests. If you have written to us before and want your messages deleted, say so and we will remove them.
What we cannot do
We are writers, not advisers. We are not able to review your accounts, recommend a specific loan, investment, insurer or bank, or tell you what to do in your individual situation. For decisions of that kind, please speak to a qualified professional such as an accountant, an independent financial adviser or a solicitor, depending on the question. We are happy to point you towards the general topics worth raising with them.
Please do not send account numbers, passwords, identity documents or other sensitive information. We will never ask for them, and if they arrive by mistake we will delete the message.
Advertising and sponsored content
The site carries no display advertising. If you are writing about a commercial proposal, include a short, clear outline so we can decide quickly whether it fits. Anything we publish has to stand up as useful reading in its own right.
Before you write
You may find your answer faster in the archive. Our further reading page groups the most useful articles by theme, and the about page explains what we cover and why.
How we treat the details in your email is set out on our privacy page. In short: we use them only to reply.
